Jampui Hills are located at an altitude of approximately 1000 m. Lying in North Tripura district, the summit of the Jampui Hills commands a breathtaking natural view of the towns nearby.
Orange plantations of Jampui Hills are famous throughout India. The people are predominantly Lushais and Reangs. During November every year, the unique Orange festival is celebrated here. A large number of tourists, both domestic and foreign, participate and enjoy the festivities.
The rainy season is no less charming when the hills are covered with floating clouds and provide a rare experience to the tourists. The formation of clouds at the bottom of the hill range and its gradual ascendance from the bottom to the top engulf the entire region in its mystic lap thus offering a memorable experience to the visitors.
